The Instrument of Government states that the Governing Body previously consisted of 9 Governors but was re-constituted in February 2024 as follows:

2 (previously 3) Parent Governors / 1 Headteacher / 1 Staff / 1 Local Authority / 3 Co-opted Governors

The Governing Body have not appointed any Associate Members for the Academic Year 2024-2025

The Governing Body appointed 1 committee and appointed 1 governor to a Review Panel for the academic year 2024-25 – other appeals committees will be appointed as and when required:

Pay Committee – Meets as necessary to review whole school pay decisions prior to reporting in fact to FGB

Heads Performance Management Panel – the appointed governor meets under the MOU agreement with the relevant employer and represents the view of BNS FGB for matters regarding Headteacher’s Pay decision.

The Full Governing Body ratifies decisions following recommendation from the committees/panel above (unless otherwise stated in School Policy/Terms of Reference), and all minutes are available in the school office, with the exception of confidential minutes.
